PARENT-TEACHER ASSEMBLY 2016

Every year, parents, teachers and staff members come together to discuss matters aimed for the betterment of the institution. Thus, on the 26th of August 2016, the ILLC held its Parent-Teacher Assembly. This event aims to inform the parents of the improvements and actions made by the school over the past year to enhance the overall experience of the students.

The program started with the very warm and welcoming words from Teacher Archie inviting all the parents into another meaningful yet fun-filled sharing and discussion. Afterwards, a couple of parents were invited to share their experiences and how it is to be a part of the ILLC family. Moving on with the program, Teacher Nina shared some of the highlights from the previous school year. Parents and teachers were then divided into two groups – Ways and Means committee and the Finance committee – each given the task to come up with plans that would generate funds for the school projects and think of ways on how to improve the school’s facility. After the meaningful and active brainstorming and discussion, the assembly decided to continue the Valentine Concert Ball and the Movie Block Screening as the PTA’s activities for the year.
